Business-Forum of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

On June 1, 2022, the Forum of entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent on the eve of the official visit of the Founder of peace and national unity, Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan his excellency Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The purpose of this event was to strengthen current cooperation between entrepreneurs and find partners.

The Republic of Tajikistan was represented at the event by the first deputy Prime Minister, ministers of industry and new technologies, agriculture, chairman of the state Committee on investments and state property management, as well as government officials and more than 100 entrepreneurs.

During the forum, the parties in their speeches noted the positive trend in economic relations between the two countries and the further expansion and deepening of cooperation in the field of investment.

A favorable investment base has been created between the two countries for the expansion of good relations in industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, construction and other areas of interest, and this process will continue in the future.

 The signing of a number of cooperation documents between entrepreneurs of the two countries has once again demonstrated the efforts of the parties to strengthen and integrate trade and investment relations.
