Meeting with the mission European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

 On April 17, 2024 was held a meeting between the Chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahimzoda Sulton Nurmahmadpur and the mission of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

During the meeting were discussed the current situation and prospects for expanding cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the progress of implementation of public and private investment projects, financing of new priority projects and the mechanisms of their implementation, exchange of experience in the field of financing private sector projects and etc..

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development plays an important role in strengthening the financial and private sectors, transport, energy, public water supply and improving the level of public services in Tajikistan, with the financial support of the bank, a number of public and private investment projects are being implemented in these areas.

 Based on the results of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to attract more capital from the bank into the country’s economy and strengthen cooperation in these areas.
