The portfolio of existing state investment projects in the Republic of Tajikistan in 2023 consist of 85 objects (51 grant projects, 5 loans projects and 35 loans and grants project), which amounted for 49,3 billion somoni (US $4,5 billion).
In the portfolio of existing state investment projects, grants account for TJS 32,9 billion (USD 3,0 billion) or 52,6% of the total portfolio; loans - TJS 15,0 billion (USD 1,36 billion) or 29,7%; contribution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan - TJS 1,34 billion (USD 122,0 million) or 2,6%; and other sources, including contribution of state enterprises, local executive bodies of state power and etc. - TJS 62,9 million (USD 5,7 million) or 0,1%.
The existing state investment projects financed by: World Bank 1 652.5 million USD. or 36.6 % of the total portfolio, Asian Development Bank - 989.2 million USD or 22.1 %, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - 599.2 million USD or 13.4 %, Government of the People's Republic of China 205.0 million USD or 4.5 %, the Islamic Development Bank 175.6 million. USD or 4.0 %, the German Development Bank 159.7 million USD or 3.5 %, the European Investment Bank 154.8 million USD or 3.4 %, the Saudi Fund for Development 110.0 million USD or 2.0 %, OPEC Fund - 72.0 million USD or 1.6 %, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank - 75.0 million USD or 1.3 %, International Fund for Agricultural Development - 69.8 million USD or 1.5 %, Government of Japan - 42.8 million USD or 1.0 %, European Union - 33.0 million USD or 0.7 %, Kuwait Fund for Economic Development - 25.5 million USD or 0.5 %, Government of Switzerland - 14.4 million USD 0.3 %, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran - 5.5 million USD or 0.1 %, the contribution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is 120.0 million. dollars or 2.6 % and the contribution of local state enterprises, local self-government bodies, communities, etc.) 5.7 million dollars or 0.1 %.

- In the health care sector 10 projects 565.1 million TJS (51.6 million USD) or 107% of the financial plan;
- In the agriculture sector 3 projects utilized 352.7 million TJS (32.2 million USD) or 97% of the financial plan;
- In the irrigation sector 4 projects utilized 231.6 million TJS (21.1 million USD) or 84% of the financial plan;
- In the public utilities and waste management sector 14 projects utilized 474.0 million TJS (43.3 million USD) or 92% of the financial plan;
- In the energy sector 17 projects utilized 1,902.5 million TJS (173.7 million USD) or 80% of the financial plan;
- In the transport sector 14 projects utilized 2,928.2 million TJS (267.4 million USD) or 131% of the financial plan;
- In the ecology sector 9 projects utilized 239.8 million TJS (21.8 million USD) or 102% of the financial plan;
- In other spheres (customs, finance, tourism, etc.) 6 projects utilized 567.0 million TJS (51.7 million USD) or 153% of the financial plan.
