In the afternoon of May 2, 2024, in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia, on the sidelines of the 57th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Hokim Kholiqzoda held a meeting with the Governor of the Asian Development Bank in the Republic of Tajikistan and the President of the Asian Development Bank, Masatsugu Asakawa.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Asian Development Bank, along with the implementation of reforms and economic transformations in the country, the financing of public investment projects in priority areas, issues related to climate change, the implementation of the "green economy" development strategy, and the attraction of ADB investments for strategically important projects in the country.
