Meeting with the Group of Chambers of Commerce of Malaysia

On November 18, 2024, on the margins of the Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan met with the heads and members of Group of Chambers of Commerce of Malaysia.

During the meeting it was noted that Tajikistan considers the development and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation with the countries of South-East Asia as one of the priority directions for entering the markets of capital, technologies and industrial products.

The meeting also touched upon the issues of strengthening cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries to support trade and export-import operations, establishment of cooperation in the field of import and export of Halal products to the markets of Tajikistan and Malaysia, attraction of investments and establishment of joint ventures.

The parties agreed to strengthen trade and investment relations, as well as to organize exchange visits of business and investment circles to explore opportunities for cooperation in various sectors of the economy.

Following the meeting, between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Chamber of Commerce of Malaysia was signed a Memorandum of understanding on сooperation.
